CVCe Packet {SUPER E!}

I think this might be my favorite unit so far... {do I say that every time?} I am so excited to show you my latest unit... CVCe Activities: SUPER E!! I created this unit after I realized a few of my students didn't quite have this skill down. I have created a super hero named Ethan, but his friends call him SUPER E. He goes around helping other vowels say their name when they are in the CVCe word pattern.


This Unit Includes: CVCe posters {color, b&w, and draw-your-own}, a CVCe lesson suggestion with an accompanying worksheet, an original CVCe story with SUPER E as the main character {in color and b&w} with an accompanying worksheet, a SUPER E craftivity that your students will love {part of this craft is pictured above}, CVCe game {easy prep. work}, and 2 practices pages.

parts of speech bundle {nouns, verbs, & adjectives}

In my classroom we are reviewing nouns, verbs, and adjectives. To do this, I am using all three of my parts of speech units. My students love these units {esp. the Action Verb Heroes}! Since I am continually using all three units at once, I thought it would be nice to *bundle* them for you--so you can, too!! Normally these units are $5.00 each, which would make them $15.00 total {for all three}. All I can say about this unit is HALLELUJAH - it's done!

This unit finally is the perfect companion to All About Nouns and Action Verbs!

One of the printables you will find in this unit is an A-Z Book of Adjectives. I made these for my students today. I will introduce these books to them tomorrow and they will keep them in their writing folders. 
This book will help them write with a variety of adjectives! 


I am also excited to play this game, Build-a-Sentence, with them tomorrow! They will have to roll a noun, spin a verb, and pick an adjective (with cards). Then they will use these words to create a complete sentence.


This unit is designed to teach your students about AWESOME ADJECTIVES! 
Many of the activities also integrate nouns and verbs.

word endings: update

I have spend the better part of my weekend re-vamping my Word Endings Unit (-ed, -ing).  It was one of the first units I made to sell and I have learned so much about designing lesson plans since then. I have been wanting to cute-sify it for a while and I am glad to have finally found the time! My students are all smiles about these action heroes!
And more importantly... they know what an action verb is!

After meeting "Verb" the action hero on Monday, 
the girls in my class kindly requested a "Verba" action hero...

They got her... meet "Verba" the little sister!

I know--it's genius!

This mini book isn't exactly the same as the one in my Noun Unit, but it is similiar!
