Happy Sunday, Sweet Friends! I wanted to share with you all what I have been doing in my classroom to manage my students' behavior lately. My students have a serious case of "spring fever" so I had to get a little creative on this one...
My students are really into this Behavior Race, which makes my job easier! Each team (my class is divided into 4 teams) has a chance to move three spaces on the game board, at the end of the day (I use tallies on the board to show how many spaces each team has). If a team has a good day, then they will most likely move all three spaces, if a team has a hard day (behaviorally) then they may only get to move 1 or 2 spaces, depending on how many tallies they have left. When each team gets to the finish space, they will get a prize (the game won't start over until everyone reaches the finish space).

- Jumpin' Jacks font for Behavior Race words {here}
-White poster board
- Colored card stock
- Game board template {here}
- KPM Doodles clipart for decoration {here}
I copied the game board template onto blue, yellow, orange, purple, and green card stock. After I cut everything out, I arranged the spaces on my poster board until I had everything the way I wanted. (This last part took a long time, because I have a badddd case of OCD...) BTW: I got to finally work in my new office {pictures coming SOON}. But you can see in the picture below that I prefer to work on the floor and spread everything out, instead of working on the long counter I paid big bucks for... go figure!
